Life story Mr. Johnny Marc Maupin, age 51, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 17, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son of Johnny and Beverly (Bayne) Maupin. Mr. Maupin was a 1981 graduate of Jeffersonville High School and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and biology from Indiana University Southeast. He worked for the Black Diamond Company in Clarksville, Indiana, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include one daughter, Eve Maupin of Sellersburg, Indiana; one son, Christian Marc Maupin of Sellersburg; his parents of Jeffersonville; one sister, Trish Grimes of Jeffersonville; one brother, Matthew Maupin of Louisville; his children's mother, Deanna Maupin of Sellersburg; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. The Reverend Frank McGee will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery, Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Chapel from 11AM until 1:00 PM Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Community Montessori Charter School, 4102 Saint Joseph's Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
