Life story Ms. Joyce Ann Tyree, 71, of Madison, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2010 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born Saturday, December 24, 1938 in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of Clifford and Decota Mae (Todd) Cosby. She worked at the former Clifty Falls Nursing Home for 23 years as a dietician. She was a member of the Broadway Baptist Church. She enjoyed to cook, play cards, and gatherings with family and friends. Survivors include her son, Carl Tyree and his companion, Cindy of Madison; one sister, Ella Humes and her husband, Melvin of Hanover; one step-brother, Byron Harvey of Ohio; and a nephew, Teddy Tyree of Madison. She was preceded in death by her parents. Private services will be held for the family with burial to follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Lide White Boys and Girls Club or Broadway Baptist Church. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
