(Albert) Lavoie
August 21, 1939 – August 26, 2025
June Marlene Lavoie, age 86, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Sylvio and Priscilla (Davis) Albert, was born on August 21, 1939, in Leominster, Massachusetts. On September 11, 1962, she was united in marriage to Albert John Lavoie, Sr.. Throughout the years, June was a homemaker and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her entire face would light up with joy when her family came to visit (and when she was eating ice cream). She enjoyed playing bingo and collecting angel figurines. June loved to joke around and always found a way to make folks laugh. Ms. Lavoie passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the Riverview Village in Clarksville, Indiana.
Her life will be cherished by her children: Albert J. Lavoie, Jr. and his wife, Audrey of Dayton, Ohio and Tina Marie Konkle and her late husband, Brian of Lexington, Indiana; her grandchildren: Alex (Miranda) Lavoie, April (Sam) Brinson, Ashley (Nick) Belsky, Brandon Bates, Kayla Meadows, Malaina (Johnathan) Snyder, Miranda (Dave) Patton, and Zachary (Clarissa) Hassfurder; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; her brother: Walter Albert of Carrollton, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert J. Lavoie, Sr. who passed away on February 12, 1989; her brothers, Robert Albert of Bedford, Kentucky, and Dennis Albert of Leominster; her son, David Albert; her daughter, Patricia A. Crecelius who passed away on November 1, 2016; and her granddaughter, Amanda Meadows.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 30, 2025 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery in Madison. Friends and family may visit at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 1:00 PM until the time of the service on Saturday.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association (HCMA). Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
