Life story Katelyn Nicole Bruner, 17, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 in Madison. Born August 30, 1995 in Madison, she was the daughter of John M. and LeAnn K. (Knox) Bruner. Miss Bruner was a junior at Madison Consolidated High School, and was also in vocational training studying medical administration. She was planning to tour Indiana University soon in preparation of her collegiate career. She was baptized in the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Madison. She enjoyed playing soccer, basketball, volleyball, four wheeling, boating, listening to music, spending time with her friends and cooking. Survivors include her parents, John M. Bruner, Madison and LeAnn K. Bruner, Madison; one sister, Hannah Brittany Bruner, Madison; maternal grandparents, Mark and Nadja Keach, Madison; maternal great grandmothers, Doris Hubbs and Theola Knox, both of Madison. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Parker Knox; paternal grandparents: Merle and Margaret Bruner; maternal great grandfather, Harry Hubbs; and four uncles: Kevin Knox, Tom Bruner, Jeff Bruner, and Steve Bruner. The Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Reverend Chris Craig at 10:00 AM Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Madison, with interment to follow in Saint Patrick Cemetery.
