Life story Mrs. Kathryn E. Burdsal, age 86, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2004 at the King's Daughters' Hospital. Born May 29, 1918 in Jefferson County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Edward And Ruth A. (Cook) Blake, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dwight Blake on November 21, 1978. Mrs. Burdsal retired as a jewelry salesperson for Sears in Indianapolis after 30 years of service. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Order of Eastern Star Lodge #530, Democrat Women's Organization, Senior Citizens Center, Brooksburg United Methodist Church, and the former Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. She enjoyed playing cards at the Senior Citizens Center, Moose Lodge and VFW. She loved her cats, including Alice, who survives, and Punkin and Arnold who preceded her in death. Reverend John Russell and Reverend Richard McDole will conduct funeral services at 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 5, 2004 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Lick Branch Cemetery. Friends may call at Lytle Funeral Chapel from 4 to 8 P.M. Thursday, November 4, 2004 and from 9A.M. until time of services on Friday. Memorial contributions in memory of Kathryn E.
