Life story Lacy Ruby Anderson Gilpin, age 77, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at her son's residence in Madison. Born August 14, 1941 in Bedford, Kentucky, she was the daughter of William T. and Disie D. (Roger) Cheatham. She retired from Hickory Creek at Madison where she was a nurse for many years. She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Linda Gilham and her husband, Anthony of Alfred, Maine and Peggy Denney and her husband, Mike of New Castle, Indiana; her sons: Ballard Anderson and his wife, Laura of Randleman, North Carolina, Sidney Anderson of New Castle, and Donald Anderson and his wife, Mareen of Madison; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister: Louise May of Bedford, Kentucky; and her brother, Terry Cheatham of Lexington, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Earl Gilpin. No services will be held at this time. Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
