Life story Mr. Larry Michael Warren, age 63, of Dupont, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at the VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born on November 1, 1945 in Madison, the son of Theodore, Jr. and Wuanita June Bladen Warren. Mr. Warren was a 1965 graduate of Dupont High School, where he was salutatorian, attended the University of Evansville and University of Cincinnati, and graduated from Purdue University and IVY Tech College. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and a computer programmer. He formerly worked for Arvins in Columbus, Indiana, and retired in 2002 from Josam Manufacturing in Michigan City, Indiana. He returned to Dupont to live in 2003. Mr. Warren enjoyed building model ships, model railroad displays and puzzles. He was a member of the Dunes Model Railroad Club in Michigan City and the Dupont Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Wuanita J. Bladen Warren of Dupont; three brothers: Terry Warren of Austin, Texas, Wilford Warren of Hayden, Indiana, and Brian Keith Warren of Dupont, Indiana; three sisters: Karen Henrich of Michigan City, Indiana, Cheryl Herndon of North Vernon, Indiana and Debbie Hagar of Berea, Kentucky; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, one great great niece, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Warren, Jr. and one nephew, Allen W. Herndon. Funeral services will be conducted by the Reverend Don Hamilton at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 14, 2008 at the Dupont Baptist Church, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery. The Honor Guard of Jefferson Post #9, American Legion, will conduct graveside military honors. Friends may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 5 to 7 PM on Saturday, and from 1 to 2 PM Sunday at the church. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
