Life story Mr. Lenear "Whitey" Conard, age 78, of Madison, passed away on Saturday September 1, 2007 at his residence. He was born on June 22, 1929 in Jefferson County, Indiana, the son of Jesse and Evelyn (Mount) Conard. Mr. Conard served in the United States Army. He retired from Williamson where he worked as a welder. He loved animals and was an avid fisherman. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Lucille and Richard Lichlyter of New Whiteland, Indiana and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Lillie Mae in October 1994, and one brother, Percival "Buddy" Conard in June 1985. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services on Wednesday September 5, 2007 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in New Bethel Cemetery.
