Life story Mrs. Lillian Sue Harmon, age 69, of Lees Summit, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at the Kindred Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Born February 9, 1937 in Grancer, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Vivian (Embry) Phelps. Mrs. Harmon was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Harmon, Sr., and two sisters, Joan White and Marian McKinney. Mrs. Harmon was a former resident of Madison, a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and enjoyed reading, walking, visiting with friends, and taking care of her children and grandchildren. Survivors include three sons: Donald Harmon of Plant City, Florida, David Harmon of Madison, and Daniel Harmon of Lees Summit; four sisters: Elaine Johnson of New castle, Kentucky, Jean Flener of Glasgow, Kentucky, Jessie Watkins of Grenada, Mississippi, and Carolyn Lockard of Blackville, South Carolina; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Mr.Gerry Sandusky will conduct graveside services at 10:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2006 at the Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 PM Thursday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel in downtown Madison.
