Obituary

Life story Linden Anne Garwood, age 67, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on June 11, 1948 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Virginia (Hodges) Nairne. Mrs. Garwood graduated from the University of Cincinnati and worked as an inside sales representative for the Ohio Rod Company in Versailles, Indiana, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed going to the Madison Elks Lodge with her husband, and her hobbies included drawing, painting, gardening and flowers, especially roses. Survivors include her husband, David C. Garwood, to whom she was married on February 28, 2004; two sons and daughters-in-law: Cavan and Monica Nott and Hunter and Pam Nott, all of Madison; two brothers: Frank Nairne of Manhattan, New York and Mike Nairne and his wife, Cathy of Hilton Head, South Carolina; eight grandchildren: Cazden Nott, Cassidy Nott, Daisy Nott, Addie Nott, Hudson Stafford, Mason Stafford, Gavin Stafford and Owen Stafford; and one great grandchild, Landon Stafford. She was preceded in death by her parents. A celebration gathering will be held Saturday November 14, 2015 from 2 till 7 PM at the Madison Elks Lodge, 1251 West Main Street, Madison. Memorial contributions may be made the Madison Salvation Army. Contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home. Lytle Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
