Life story Mrs. Lois Jane Rowlett Liter, age 93, of Milton, Kentucky, passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at Signature Health Care of Trimble County, Bedford, Kentucky. She was born Tuesday, August 9, 1921 in Trimble County, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary McKay Rowlett. She lived most of her life in Milton, but also lived in Vevay, New Washington and Madison, Indiana. She was a homemaker and cleaned homes for others. She was a member of the Trimble Wesleyan Holiness Church, Milton. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Delbert and Charlotte Liter of Madison, and Dale and Janice Liter of Lexington, Indiana; two daughters and sons-in-law: Shirley and Darrell Coffin of Milton, and Sue and Ronnie Barnes of Milton; two sisters: Jackie Hall of Orlando, Florida and Nellie Patterson of Madison; thirteen grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; eleven great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Liter on August 10, 1989, and to whom she was married on February 8, 1939 in Trimble County; one son, Ronnie Liter on June 19, 1967; three brothers: Raymond, Clifford and Howard Rowlett; and one grandson, Barry Liter.
