Life story Mrs. Lucy Leathermon Hedgepeth, age 90, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. She was born March 29, 1916 in Bedford, Kentucky, the daughter of Dora and Bettie (Carter) Leathermon. Mrs. Hedgepeth was a homemaker and a housekeeper for many years. She attended First Christian Church, and was a member of the American Legion Auxillary and Moose Lodge. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Mary L. and Roger Goodin of Madison; three sons: Charles Tingle and his wife, Helen of Madison, Freddie Hedgepeth of Madison, and Larry Hedgepeth, Sr. and his wife of Deputy; two grandsons: David Hedgepeth and his wife, Chrissy of Madison, and Larry Hedgepeth, Jr. of Deputy; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Autumn Hedgepeth; and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hedgepeth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert C. Hedgepeth on August 6, 1978; and a daughter, Dorothy Tingle, who was seven years of age. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, 423 West Main Street in downtown Madison. Family and friends may gather for visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
