Life story Mrs. Maggie Mae Brim, age 85, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at her residence. Born August 1, 1928 in Madison, she was the daughter of Lloyd Monroe and Ruth (Shipley) Francisco. Mrs. Brim was a life-long resident of Madison and attended the former Central High School. Early in her life, she worked at the Madison State Hospital, and then retired in 1994 after thirty years of service with the former Reliance Electric Company. She was a member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Cooking for her family and completing puzzles of all kinds were some of her favorite things to do. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law: Jacqueline and Travis Matteson of Madison; two sons: Jeff Brim and John Brim, both of Madison; one sister: Wanda Kelley of Hanover, Indiana; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; four sons: Danny Brim, Gary Brim, and two infant sons; and one brother, Ike Francisco. There are no funeral services planned.
