Life story Mrs. Marcia Elizabeth Gibson, age 69, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Born February 16, 1937 in Madison, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Marjorie (Pender) Wright. Mrs. Gibson was a homemaker, a Baptist and an avid Bingo player. Survivors include four daughters: Darla Schmidt and her husband, Darrell of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Tammy Mathis and her husband John of Indianapolis, Dixie Gibson of Hanover, and Marjorie Corbin and her husband, Jeff of Hanover; one son and daughter-in-law, James and Jean Brown of Indianapolis; her companion, Johnny Cole of Hanover; one sister and brother-in-law, Sue Lynn and Dink Haymaker of Indianapolis; four brothers: Leonard "Sonny" Wright and his wife, Wally of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Johnny Wright and his wife, Vickie of Indianapolis, Bill Wright of Indianapolis, and Rex Wright and his wife, Beth of Collinsville, Illinois; fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Gibson was preceded in death not only by her parents, but by one granddaughter, Patricia Schmidt in 1985. The Reverend Darren Wan will conduct graveside services at 1:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Mount Zion Cemetery near Paynesville. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday, May 26, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis.
