Life story Mr. Marvin V. Frisque, age 79, of Madison, Indiana passed away on Friday April 10, 2009 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1929 in Wisconsin, the son of John and Alvina Frisque. Mr. Frisque was a specialist in the United States Army. He retired from Envirex and worked for over twenty years at the Heitz Car Wash. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Veteran's of Foreign Wars Post #1969; Moose Lodge #765 and he enjoyed golf and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Carol Jean; son, Steve Frisque; two brothers, Elmer and Germaine Frisque; a sister, Iris Frisque; two grandchildren, Susan Crowe and Stacey Watkins; five great-grandchildren, Tyler and Brandon Frisque, Alyssa Crowe, Logan and Maggie Jester. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Arlin on August 7, 1949; a sister, Susan Mary on July 8, 1966; a brother, Carel on March 11, 2008; a sister, Beatrice on January 25, 1988; and a great-grandson, Jordan Thomas Watkins on June 22, 2001. The Reverend John Meyer will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM Tuesday April 14, 2009 at St. Patrick's Chapel with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Military graveside services will be conducted by the United States Army. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and from 9:00 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:30PM Monday at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
