Life story Mary E. Taylor, age 61, of Vallonia, Indiana, formerly of Madison, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2008 at her residence in Vallonia. She was born July 6, 1946 in Madison, the daughter of Albert and Dorothy (Smith) Lamb. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker, and had worked for Key Manufacturing in Madison and then at Blue River Industries in Salem, Indiana until she was unable due to illness. She was a member of the Salvation Army and often played bingo, went shopping and loved being around friends. Suvivors include her daughter and son in law, Candi and John Maddox of Dupont; a son, Mark Taylor of Madison; a brother, James Lamb and his companion, Cathy Austin of Madison; her father, Albert Lamb of Deputy; four granddaughters: Amber Maddox of Madison, Brandy Smith of Bedford, Kentucky, Candice Taylor of Madison, and Kirsten Taylor of Madison; and one great-grandson, Jacob Smith. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Lamb; her husband, William Robert Taylor in 1988; grandmother, Bessie Smith and an infant sister, Dottie Smith. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday March 11, 2008 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel with interment to follow in the Springdale Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 4 to 7 PM Monday March 10, 2008 and from 11 AM until time of services on Tuesday at the Lytle Funeral Chapel.
