Life story Mary Catherine Harsin, 86, of Madison, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Hickory Creek at Madison. She was born Saturday, April 28, 1928 in Madison, the daughter of William H. and Ella Marie (Cull) Edwards. She worked at the former US Shoe Corp. for nearly forty five years. She was a member of the Hanover Christian Church, and former Eagle's Lodge #1158 in Madison. Survivors include her son, James R. Harsin and his wife, Carolyn of Madison; two sisters: Peggy Lehnert of Milton, Kentucky, and Mickie Edwards of Madison; two grandchildren: Staci A. Turner of Milton and Josh Harsin of Louisville, Kentucky; and a great-granddaughter, Megan Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Harsin, whom she married July 14, 1947, and who died on February 12, 2002; a brother, James Edwards; and an infant son. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Lytle Funeral Chapel, 423 West Main Street in Downtown Madison. Burial will be in Moffett Cemetery in Milton. Friends may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel Saturday, December 13, 2014 from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM.
