Mary Evelyn (Hinds) Givens, age 74, of Madison, Indiana passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. Mary was born on January 10, 1948 in Connersville, Indiana. She was the daughter of Kathryn and Harry Hinds who proceeded her in death. Mary greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing crafts with her daughter, Dena, loved playing games with her sisters and aunt, and putting together puzzles.

She was also proceeded in death by her lifetime love, her husband, Jimmie Don Givens, her first born daughter, Belinda Sue Givens, her sisters: Joyce Hazelip and Bobbie Jo Lime; and her beloved granddaughter, Brittany Black.

Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter and best friend, Dena G. Givens of Madison; her son, Denny Givens; her grandchildren: Todd Michael Black, Brandon Singer, Katie Givens, Joseph Givens, Cynthia Givens, Molly Spenneberg, Tracey Black and Joshua Lake; her great grandchildren which she lived for: Autumn Frisque, Ariana Black, Aaron Black, Nevaeh Lake, Bentlee Lake, Shayla Black, Jayden Allshouse, Katniss Davis, and Brooklyn Adams; her sisters: Marilyn Lock Heart, Carolyn Hendrickson, Mona Kay Lime, and Jerry King, all of Indianapolis; her brothers: Steve Hinds of Alabama and Larry Hinds of Indianapolis; and her aunt, Deloris Louden of Madison.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens in Madison, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 12:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
