Life story Mary E. Graham Stoffer, age 95, of Scottsburg, Indiana, formerly of Dupont, Indiana, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2017 at the Hampton Oaks Health Campus in Scottsburg. Born September 14, 1921 in North Vernon, Indiana, she was the daughter of Noe W. and Verna (Tatem) More. Mrs. Stoffer was a 1939 graduate of San Jacinto High School and retired as a psychiatric aide at Madison State Hospital. She was a member of the Dupont United Methodist Church and formerly served as president of the Dupont Elementary School PTA. She was an avid reader of the Bible, classics and other literature, and collected tea pots and owls. On December 11, 1941, she married Graston W. "Blink" Graham, who passed away on April 1, 1988. She married Dwight P. Stoffer on October 20, 1988, and he passed away on August 10, 2010. She will be sadly missed by three sons and daughters-in-law: Duane and Patty Graham of North Vernon, David and Stephanie Graham of Dupont, and Jim and Helen Graham of Madison; six grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one daughter, Judith Graham Schenewerk in 2004; three sisters: Mae Sweeney, Grace Machino and Martha Kinney; and six brothers: Roy More, Orville More, Bill More, Howard More, Walter More and Noe More. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, Madison, with interment to follow in Dupont Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon on Tuesday.
