Life story Mrs. Matilda B. Luellen Skirvin, age 90, of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Hickory Creek of Madison. Born January 12, 1921 in Madison, she was the daughter of Theodore and Pheobe (Raisor) Eaglin. Mrs. Skirvin had worked in the production department of the former Conn Organ Company in Madison until it closed in 1979, and then for the former Joyce Shoe Company. She was a Baptist. Survivors include two sons: Barton Stucker of Brownstown, Indiana and Jerry Stucker of Jefferson County, Indiana; one niece, Ruthie Bucker of Bloomfield, Indiana; her friend and caregiver, Sharon Stevens of Brooksburg, Indiana; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her second husband, Charles Luellen; one brother, Theodore Eaglin; and two sisters: Donna June Reynolds and Ruth Baker. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
