Life story Maurilio Leon, Jr., age 59, of Madison, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015 at his residence. He was born Thursday, November 24, 1955 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Maurilio, Sr. and Delores (Aguilera) Leon. Mr. Leon graduated form Calistoga High School in Calistoga, Calfiornia. While in high school, he played drums, football,and ran track. He moved to Madison in 2002 from Vallejo, California where he was a printing press operator. He retired in 2009 from Arvin-Sango Corporation in Madison where he was a C-class stamper. He enjoyed professional baseball and football, watching NASCAR, and was a former Little League manager and coach. He led three teams to Little League championships. Survivors include two sons: Philip Leon and his girlfriend, Christina of Madison, and Michael Leon and his girlfriend, Danielle of Bay Point, California; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Alan Champ of Hanover; three brothers: Jose Guadalupe Leon of Mexico, and Enrique Leon and Jesse Leon, both of California; three sisters: Carmen Serafin and Ernestina Rincon, both of California, and Celina Leon of Arizona; and nine grandchildren: Anthony, Logan and Arianna Champ, Aaron, Philip, Jr., Brooklynn, Austin and Justise Leon, and Jared Stoner. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Manuel Leon, and one sister, Socorro Camancho Leon. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2015 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery.
