Life story Michael Joseph Cook, age 55, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Born October 15, 1959 in Wayne, Michigan, he was the son of Joseph A. and Alma (Fassbender) Cook. Mr. Cook served in the US Navy from May 21, 1980 to August 12, 1983. He achieved the rank of Mess Management Specialist Seaman (MSSN). He later worked in food services. Survivors include his mother of Wayne County, Michigan; one brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Melody Cook of Deputy, Indiana; two nephews and two great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father in 2014. No services are planned. Arrangements were made through Lytle Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Vail's on Michigan Road.
