Life story Mr. Marmon Mitchell Jones, age 54, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2006 at his residence. He was born on June 15, 1952 in Gallatin County, Kentucky, the son of Alfred and Dorothy (Kinman) Jones. Mr. Jones worked at Tractor Supply Company as a sales associate, up until his illness. Before that he worked at Boonies Water Conditioning as a Route Manager. He served his country in the Army and National Guard during the Vietnam and Gulf War Eras. He rose to the rank of Sergeant First Class and received the National Defense Service Medal and Bronze Star. He loved dancing, singing karaoke and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Monroe Lodge #2 and American Legion, Jefferson Post #9. Survivors include his wife and best friend, Debi Yount; one daughter and son in law, Lesley and Gary Wespesser of Sparta, KY, one son and daughter in law, Cameron and Sarah Jones of Warsaw, KY; two step-daughters,; Tammy Rousch of Brandon, MS, and Eydie Brown of Louisville, KY, two step-sons, Jeremy and Josh Honaker of Madison, his mother, Dorothy (Kinman) Jones of Warsaw, one brother, David "Tucker" Jones (Sandy) of Sparta, KY and four sisters, Shirley Brock (Dean) and Charlene Lewis (Gary) of Warsaw, KY, Kathy Woolum (Rick) of Vevay, IN and Mary Stafford (Tim) of Sparta, KY and six grandchildren: Geoffrey and Danielle Rousch, Hayden Seng, Levi and Blayne Wespesser, and Jalahn Honaker. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his father, Alfred Jones in 1995. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct Memorial Services at 1:00 PM Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Marble Corner Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday December 17, 2006 and from 11 AM until time of services on Monday. The I.O.O.F., Monroe Lodge #2 will conduct memorial services at 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. The honor guard of the American Legion, Jefferson Post #9 will conduct graveside honors at the cemetery. The family requests contributions in memory of Mr. Jones to be made to the King's Daughters' Hospital Hospice. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
