Life story Mrs. Mon L. Saylor, age 82, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at The Waters of Clifty Falls in Madison. She was born on May 24, 1927 in Evarts, Kentucky, the daughter of Henry and Bertha Smith Jump. Mrs. Saylor graduated from a beauty school in Detroit, Michigan, and worked as a hairdresser there for twenty years. She moved to Madison in 1973 and began working as a seamstress at the former Meyers Manufacturing Company. She retired from Meyers after many years of service. Survivors include two nieces: Janice Fugate of Hanover, and Wanda Cornelius and her husband, Kenneth, of Hanover; several nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and great great great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five sisters: Roma Wynn, China Jones, Billy Jump, Monteen Black and Mary Quinn; one brother, Marvin Jump; and five nephews: Timmy Wynn, Shirley Wynn, Bobby Wynn, Darrell Jones and Robert Jones.
