Life story Mrs. Nancy Joyce Spillman, age 77, of North Fort Myers, Florida, formerly of Madison, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida. Born March 23, 1934 in Madison, she was the daughter of George and Mildred Jones Garlinghouse. Mrs. Spillman was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, antiques and dolls. Survivors include two daughters: Susi Spillman Rigsby of North Fort Myers, Florida, and Angi Spillman McKay of Madison, Indiana; six grandchildren: Lora Szymialis, Brandi Mease, Josh Rigsby, Ben McKay, Desiree Krieger and Emilee McKay; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Bud" Spillman, Jr., to whom she was married on June 18, 1949; two sisters, Betty Copeland and Lois Turner; four brothers: Louis "Sonny", Bill, Andrew, and Daniel Garlinghouse; and one grandson, Kyle McKay. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Lytle Funeral Chapel. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
