Life story Nancy E. Lee, age 69, of Madison, passed away on Monday, December 11, 2006 at her residence. She was born on September 17, 1937 in Madison, the daughter of Robert, Sr. and Mildred (Lockridge)Cheatham. Mrs. Lee was a graduate of Madison High School, and an employee of the Kroger Company in Madison for over 50 years. She was active in the Relay for Life, as well as Madison Consolidated High School activities and ballgames. She loved being with people and people enjoyed being around her. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Scott and Amy Lee of Madison, and Tony and Kimberly Lee of Stockbridge, Georgia; one sister, Thelma Wehner of Madison; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas "Tuck" and Jo Anne Cheatham, of Madison; three grandsons: Jacob, Jason and Caleb; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers: Larry, Robert "Buck", Jr., Edward "Bardo", and Gene Cheatham; and one sister, Dorothy Sands. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 16, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 4 to 8 PM Friday, December 15, and from 1 PM until time of services on Saturday. The family requests memorial contributions in memory of Nancy E.
