Patricia Mae Grigsby, age 76, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Alonzo and Lila Mae (Robertson) Grigsby, was born May 11, 1947, in Versailles, Indiana. She worked in medical records at the Madison State Hospital for many years. She was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ and never hesitated to share her faith with those she loved. She was a faithful partner of North Madison Christian Church where she enjoyed greeting on Sunday mornings and attending Lunch Bunch with close friends. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, being with her dog, Bandit, and spending time with her family. Miss Grigsby entered into her eternal home with Jesus on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the River Terrace Health Campus in Madison. Her life will be cherished by her sisters: Linda Kay McFadden and her husband, Wayne of Lexington, Indiana, Brenda Cahall and her husband, Kim of Madison, and Paula Bower and her husband, Jerry of Hanover, Indiana; her sister-in-law: Deanne Grigsby of New Washington; her nieces and nephews: Rebecca Montgomery, Stephanie Marion, Angie Bear, Shane Cahall, Trevor McFadden, Chris Bower, Allen Grigsby, Brandi Mundt, Ryan Grigsby, and Shanna Hunter; and a bunch of great nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Grigsby who passed away on September 18, 1989, her mother, Lila Mae Grigsby who passed away on December 8, 2021; and her brother: Doug Grigsby. Pastor Bob Hicks and Pastor Brye Welty will conduct memorial services at 6:00 PM Friday, February 2, 2024 at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel. Friends and family may gather at Lytle Welty Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 4:00 PM until the time of the service on Friday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or North Madison Christian Church. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
