Life story Paul Merritt Alcorn, 28, of Indianapolis, Indiana, formerly of Madison, passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at his residence in Indianapolis. He was born Friday, April 29, 1983 in Madison, the son of George and Pat (Finney) Alcorn. Paul graduated from Madison Consolidated High School in 2002 and held a Bachelor's degree from IUPUI in Construction Management, Engineering and Technologies. He formerly worked for Gaylor as a project manager. He was a member of the Prince Of Peace Catholic Church, and Reel Women Reel Men of Indianapolis. He was an avid flyfisherman and enjoyed hunting, golfing, the Indianapolis Colts, and his dogs, Bogie and Maebe. Survivors include his fiance, Margaret Elizabeth LaMade of Indianapolis; his mother, Pat Alcorn of Madison; his father, Dr. George Alcorn of Madison; two brothers: John Alcorn and his wife, Kelle of Fishers, Indiana, and George Alcorn of Madison; one sister, Mary Charlotte Alcorn of Madison; one nephew, Keelty; one niece, Evelyn; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Dr. Merritt and Martha Alcorn; and his maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Finney. The Reverend John Meyer will conduct the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, with burial to follow at the Springdale Cemetery. Friends may call from 3:00 PM till 8:00 PM on Monday, April 9, 2012 and from 9:00 AM till 10:30 AM on Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel.
