Life story Paula M. Buerke, age 46, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born on Auugst 30, 1966 in Madison, the daughter of Paul B. and Judy E. (Hardwick) Garrett. She was a 1984 graduate of Southwestern High School in Hanover, and enjoyed the outdoors, espeically fishing and swimming. She had lived in Mississippi for six years before moving back to Madison just prior to her death. Survivors include her father, Paul B. Garrett of Madison; one son, Nathan Allen Garrett of Milton, Kentucky; one brother: Bart Garrett of Greensburg, Indiana; her step-father, Tony Grubbs of Madison; one step-brother, Mike Grubbs of Madison; two step-sisters: Vickie Grubbs and Sheryl Grubbs, both of Madison; one niece and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother, Judy E. Grubbs on July 6, 2013; and grandparents William H. and Mary Garrett, and Hulan and Bonnie Hardwick. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Grandview Memorial Gardens.
