Ray Edward "Eddie" Schneeberger, age 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, and the son of the late Eugene Vaughn and Effie Maxine (Goodwin) Schneeberger, was born on April 1, 1958, in Marietta, Ohio. On July 6, 1979, he was united in marriage to Janice Lynn Keith and they were blessed with two children, Stephanie and Eric. For over 40 years, Eddie was a Building Maintenance Engineer for many Class A buildings including hospitals and luxury apartments. He was known for being a great boss who was always fair and well-liked by those who worked for him. In his spare time, Eddie was an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was a true car enthusiast who found joy in working on his cars, reading about the latest developments in the auto industry, watching NASCAR races on the weekends, and even owning two different Camaros over the years. More than anything though, he enjoyed the time he spent with his family. Eddie had a very welcoming personality with the best smile and a great sense of humor. Mr. Schneeberger passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Hosparus Health Inpatient Care in Louisville, Kentucky. His life will be cherished by his wife of 46 years, Janice Schneeberger of Louisville; his children: Stephanie Faries and her husband, Brian of Trenton, Ohio, and Eric Schneeberger and his companion, Madie of Louisville; his grandchildren: Danielle Hunt and her husband, Austin, Austin Faries, Evan Schneeberger, Addyson Schneeberger, Jackson Schneeberger, Katie Schneeberger, Eli Schneeberger, and Astrid Schneeberger; his great granddaughter: Violet Hunt; his brothers: Terry Schneeberger and his wife, Tammy of Middletown, Ohio and Ronnie Schneeberger of West Virginia; and his sister: Kathy Lynn and her husband, David of Tennessee. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Shannon Schneeberger. Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ray "Eddie" Schneeberger Memorial Fund to help with funeral expenses.
