Life story Mr. Raymond R. Burlew, 57, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2019 at the Hanover Health and Rehab Center. Born January 19, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of Richard M. and Alice (Pilaszewski) Burlew. Mr, Burlew moved to Madison in 1993 from Canton, Ohio and began working for Meese, Inc. He retired due to health reasons in 2013 as a shipping coordinator. He formerly was a member of the Canaan Volunteer Fire Department and the Madison Moose Lodge. He will be sadly missed by one son, LCpl. Dakota Burlew, stationed with the United States Marine Corps at the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, Virginia; one daughter, Heather Burlew of Hanover; two brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents and biological mother, Tamara Lewis. Memorial services will be held at a later date and will be announced.
