Life story Mrs. Regina Gail Cope, age 54, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her residence. Born on October 6, 1959 in Scottsburg, Indiana, she was the daughter of Dennis W. and Janet Stites Rogers. Mrs. Cope graduated from high school in New Albany, Indiana and was a homemaker. She was a member of Faith Covenant Church in Madison, and enjoyed cooking, reading and giving and receiving hugs at church. Survivors include her husband, James R. Cope, to whom she was married on September 22, 1995 in Bedford, Kentucky; two daughters: Bridget Sargent and Rebecca Mack-Aponet, both of Madison; one son, Jimmy Cope of Hanover; two step-daughters: Amy Sanders and her husband, Michael, and Kimberly Stephenson and her husband, Lee, all of Milton, Kentucky; three step-sons: Andrew Cope and his wife, Beverly and Jonathan Stackhouse, all of Milton, Kentucky, and James Cope, Jr. of Madison; her mother, Janet Rogers of Madison; two sisters: Denise Dean and her husband, Donald of Madison, and Judy Bray and her husband, Mark of Bedford, Kentucky; two grandchildren: Elijah and Danny Mack; and nine step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis W. "Bo" Rogers on September 12, 2013. Pastor Judy Howard Snell will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel.
