Life story Mrs. Renee Lawson, age 47, of Madison, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. She was born on September 30, 1958 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Eugene A. and Nadine (Kenney) White. She moved to Madison in 1980 from Huntsville, Tennessee and was a member of the Millbranch Baptist Church in Millbranch, Tennessee. Mrs. Lawson was a homemaker and a caregiver for others for several years prior to her illness. She was an animal lover and enjoyed crafts, including wind chimes and especially wire wrap beadwork. Survivors include her husband, Randy Lawson, to whom she was married on August 11, 1975 at the Millbranch Baptist Church; her mother of Madison; three sisters: Carol Frick of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Elaine Doyle of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Melodye Huston, and her husband, Jim, of Grand Haven, Michigan; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Eugene and Kay White, Jr. of Huntsville, Tennessee, Merle and Sheila White of Dacono, Colorado, and Gordon and Sharon White of Oak Ridge, Tennessee; two nephews whom she helped raise, Brandon Doyle of Chatsworth, Georgia and Nathan Green of Hanover; several other nieces and nephews and many friends in Madison. She was preceded in death by her father in 1975 and one brother, Douglas Cook. Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, June 16, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, 423 West Main Street in downtown Madison. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Madison-Jefferson County Humane Society. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral home.
