Life story Mr. Richard A. Rice, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the King's Daughters' Hospital. He was born on November 3, 1955 in Fort Walton, Florida, the son of Willard H., Jr. and Jeanne D. (Smith) Rice. Mr. Rice attended West End High School in Birmingham, Alabama and was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Hanover, Indiana. He also enjoyed old cars and listening to oldies music. Survivors include one brother, Glenn M. Rice of Elmore, Alabama; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Karen S. and Charles Caraker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Donna D. and Reverend Jeff Jones of Madison, and Trich L. and Steve Green of Birmingham, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The Reverend Jeff Jones will conduct memorial services at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Dupont Baptist Church in Dupont, Indiana. Friends and family may call at the church from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Heritage Baptist Church in Columbus, Indiana.
