Rickie A. Aldridge, age 71, of Bedford, Kentucky, and the son of the late Vance Nathanial and Ethel Mae (Horine) Aldridge, was born on July 27, 1949, in Madison, Indiana. He served in the United States Navy and retired after 15 years as a Mold Technician from Ohio Valley Aluminum in Shelbyville, Kentucky. In his spare time, he enjoyed collecting Coca Cola and eagle memorabilia. Mr. Aldridge passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison.

His life will be cherished by his daughter, Pamela Parsons, of Pendleton, Kentucky; his step-daughter, Veronica Smith, of Bedford; his step-son, Ed Whitaker, of Bedford; his sisters: Rowena May, of Louisville, Kentucky and Kathy Rison, of La Grange, Kentucky; his grandchildren: David Parsons, Shanda Parsons, Michelle Maddox, Ashley Maddox, Zachary Maddox, Gabrelle Parmer, and Ariella Whitaker; sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Aldridge; his step-daughter, Mary Gomez; and his brothers: Phillip Aldridge, Stanley Aldridge, and Michael Aldridge.

Reverend Bobby Wade will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Tuesday March 16, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop with interment to follow in Moffett Cemetery in Milton, Kentucky. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 11:00 AM until the time of the service on Tuesday.
