Life story Mr. Robert Lynn Boyes, age 45, of Madison, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2006 at his residence. Born March 27, 1961 in Edinburg, Texas, he was the son of Charles Cecil and Orline Sue (Barber) Boyes. He was preceded in death by his father in 1961, his grandfather, Charlie Thomas Barber in 1988, and grandmother, Martha Estells Barber in 1973. He enjoyed nature, especially fishing and walking in the woods. He was also a Star Trek fan, having once met Leonard Nimoy who played Mr. Spock in the television series and movies. Mr. Boyes is survived by his mother and step-father, Orline Sue and Danny Lee Turner of Madison; his companion of seven years, Linda Hemingway of Madison; two sisters and brothers-in-law: Linda and Tony Hendren and Lisa and Chris Leahigh, all of Madison; one brother, Charles Russell Turner of Madison; two step-sisters: Chasity Turner and Michelle Turner, both of Lompoc, California; two uncles: Robert Glynn Boyes and David Lee Boyes, both of Wooster, Ohio; one aunt, Louise Melton of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be conducted by the Reverend Ken Rodenberger at 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Hospice of South Central Indiana. Memorial envelopes are available at the funeral chapel.
