Life story Mr. Robert L. "Butch" Hallgarth, Jr., age 53, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Born October 28, 1951 in Milan, Indiana, he was the son of Robert Lee and Darlene (Stille) Hallgarth. His father passed away January 11, 1981, and his mother June 5, 1999. At the time of his death, Mr. Hallgarth was employed at Grote Industries, and had been a tool and die maker there for thirty-six years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, four-wheeling, and working as a mechanic. Survivors include one son, Robert A. Hallgarth of Louisville, Kentucky; two daughters: Camerin M. "Cami" Hallgarth and Coti M. Hallgarth, both of Madison; two sisters: Linda Lytle and Loralee Brierly, both of Madison; three grandchildren: Tanner, Rylee, and Collin; and several nieces and nephews. Pastor Steve Pike will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 PM Friday, and after 10 AM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are requested by the family to be made to the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund. Cards are available at the funeral home.
