Robert Michael "Mike" Calvert, age 62, of Dupont, Indiana, and the son of the late John and Almyra (Freeman) Calvert, was born on July 27, 1958, in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a graduate of Southwestern High School and had worked at Aisin Drivetrain in Crothersville, Indiana for many years. On October 31, 1983, he was united in marriage to Deanna Kay Jenkins in Hanover, Indiana, at the home of his brother. Michael was a collector of mint sets of coins, old postcards, sea posts and error coins, and loved playing and watching golf. He was a member of the Austin Community Church of God. Mr. Calvert passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Norton's Hospital in Louisville.

His life will be cherished by his wife of 37 years, Deanna of Dupont; his son: Eric Scott Robertson and his wife, Amie, of Harrison, Ohio; his step-children: Marilyn S. Haney and her husband, Steve, of Crothersville, William L. "Pete" Bowyer and his wife, Sandy, of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Thomas E. Bowyer, of Scottsburg; his sisters: Barbara Johnson and her husband, Jim, of Hanover, Martha LeGrand and her husband, John, of Hanover, Bonnie Calvert of Lexington, Indiana, Judy McMahan of Hanover, and Patricia Box of Hanover; his brother: Reverend Mark S. Calvert and his wife, Marjorie, of Madison; seven grandchildren: Brittney, Kevin, Sadie, Cody, Christian, Jaden, Chase, Briar, Katie, Amber, and Miranda; five great grandchildren: Brylee, Alexis, Blaine, Kailer, and Airie; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: William "Bill" Calvert and Ronnie Calvert; his sister: Sharon Abbott; and his grandson: Michael "Bub" Haney.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Thursday May 20, 2021 at the New Prospect Cemetery in Hanover, with interment to follow.
