Life story Mr. Robert "Bob" Mills, age 75, of Dupont, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Our Hospice of Southern Indiana in Columbus. Born August 15, 1938 in Mills, Kentucky, he was the son of Hobert and Troy (Grubbs) Mills. Mr. Mills retired in 2002 from Cummins in Columbus. He attended North Madison Christian Church, and enjoyed playing music, especially his harmonica. He was also a car enthusiast, and enjoyed going to car shows and flea markets. Survivors include one son, Rob and his wife, Sonja of North Vernon, Indiana; two grandsons: Brandon and his wife, Rachel, and Jared Mills; two great grandchildren: Jace and Piper Mills; one brother, Frank Mills of Mooresville, Indiana; two sisters: Shirley Martin of Avon, Indiana and Betty Siddons of Monrovia, Indiana; and his companion, Emma DeVeary of Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, the former Shirley Stackhouse on February 12, 2002. Mr. Robby King and Mr. Brandon Mills will conduct funeral services at 1:00 PM Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the North Madison Christian Church, with interment to follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 5 to 8 PM Friday, September 27 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, and from 12:00 to 1:00 PM Saturday at the church. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Motocross. Contribution envelopes are available at the funeral home and church.
