Life story Robert Allen Youngblood, age 71, of Hanover, Indiana, passed away on Friday, July 20, 2018 at his residence. Born September 28, 1946 in Madison, Indiana, he was the son of Robert A., Sr. and Samantha Bolton Youngblood. Mr. Youngblood was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School, and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from February 23, 1966 until March 21, 1968. He was honorably discharged as a Specialist 4th Class. He retired from the former M & T Chemical Company where he worked from 1973 to 2003. He was an artist and an avid pianist. He was of the Christian faith. Survivors include his wife, the former Laura Jean Stewart; four daughters: Samantha Youngblood, Mary Youngblood and Markitta Burns, all of Madison, and Rhonda Youngblood of Centerville, Indiana; five sons: Robert Youngblood, III, Brian Youngblood and his wife, Autumn, Michael Youngblood and his wife, Tracie, Rockco Burns and Justin Klingler, all of Madison; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ronald and Mary Youngblood of Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and Mike and Barb Youngblood of Versailles, Indiana; twenty-one grandchildren, and one great grandson, Lance. He was preceded in death by his parents; his second wife, the former Carol Wright; one sister, Saundra Cooper; and one brother, Jerry Youngblood. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Monday, July 23, 2018 at Lytle Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, 117 Holt Drive, on Madison's Hilltop, with interment to follow in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Friends and family may call from 11:00 AM until time of service on Monday at the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Robert Youngblood Memorial Fund, in care of the funeral home.
