Life story Mr. Roger L. Young, age 57, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at the IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. Born July 22, 1954 in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of James C. and Bonnie Jean (Adams) Young. Mr. Young was a 1972 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School, and, until recently, had worked in his family's logging firm in North Vernon. Survivors inlcude his father of Columbus, Indiana; two sisters: Joyce Barnes of Dupont, Indiana and Kathy Thompson of Norht Vernon; one brother, Mitch Young of North Vernon; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1999, and one brother, Larry Young on December 16, 2010. The Reverend Ernie Lamb will conduct graveside services at 1:00 PM Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Dupont Cemetery, Dupont, Indiana. Interment will follow. There will be no visitation.
