Life story Mrs. Rosemary Mattern, age 71, of Madison, Indiana passed away Monday, September 9, 2013 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. She was born Thursday, June 18, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of William and Rose (Reibel) Kramp. Mrs. Mattern graduated from Saint Benedict's Catholic elementary and high schools in Chicago. She was a homemaker and a member of the Prince Of Peace Catholic Church, .She enjoyed reading, watching the Chicago Bears and many TV shows, bingo, and caring for her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Kelly M. Mattern, of Madison, IN; a son, Chris Mattern, of Madison, IN, and 2 grandchildren, Billy and Payton Mattern. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William "Bill" Mattern and a brother, Gerard Kramp. Services for family and friends will be held at a later date. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Kaitlynn Wickersham Trust Fund. Memorial Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
