Life story Mr. Roy W. Jones, age 57, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born on August 9, 1955 in Madison, the son of Clarence L. and Louise B. (Schuck) Jones. Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Madison and attended Madison Consolidated Schools. He had worked for several downtown businesses, including Lytle Funeral Chapel and Jeff Burleson, doing odd jobs for several years, and had worked at the Riverhouse II for the past three years. He enjoyed the Madison Regatta boat races and Cincinnati Reds baseball. Survivors include one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Jeanne Jones of Madison; one aunt, Nellie Brooks of Southport, Indiana; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Kenny Jones; and one sister, Rose Marie Jones. The Reverend Robert Leach will conduct funeral services at 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Interment will be private for the family on Thursday in Springdale Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Lide White Boys and Girls Club.
