Life story Ruby V. (Scott) Craig, age 85, of Hanover, formerly of Madison, passed away on Friday, October 19, 2007 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. She was born June 16, 1922 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Jesse and Florence Ann (Caldwell) Scott. Mrs. Craig retired in 1987 from the former US Shoe Factory in Madison, and had previously worked for the former Conn Organ Company. She enjoyed gardening, crafts, painting and spending time with her grandchildren most of all. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia "Ginger" and Lyle Stockdale of Madison; son, Ronnie Craig, Sr. of Madison; sister, Edith Michael of Radcliff, Kentucky; three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law: Tammy and Paul Boldery, Nancy and Ravinder Bevli, and Julie and Rodney Fisher; eight great-grandchildren: Cierra, Briana and Brick Boldery, Kenny and Allason Manaugh, Dillion Fisher, Kristen Valenti and her husband, Kevin, and Dalton Craig; and one great-great-grandchild, Tyler Daniel Valenti. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil Craig on September 24, 1999, and to whom she was married on November 18,1944 in Vevay, Indiana; one grandson, Ronnie Craig, Jr. on November 6, 2000; one sister, Hazel Bunch; and two brothers, James and Jesse Scott. The Reverend Clifton Hartley will conduct funeral services at 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 PM today, Monday, October 22, 2007 and from 10:00 AM until time of service on Tuesday.
