Ms. Ruth Carrol, 83, of Madison, Indiana, and daughter of the late James and Mildred (Aldridge) Short, was born August 16, 1938, in North Vernon, Indiana. She was a Lab Tech at Greensburg Print Packing and enjoyed crocheting, Bible word search and reading her bible. She was a member of the Liberty Christian Church. Ms. Carrol passed away July 2, 2022 at Norton Hospital Brownsboro in Louisville, Kentucky. Her life will be cherished by: Joe and Karen Schwering; her great-nieces: Chelsea Schwering and her daughter, Camilla Schwering and Haley Martin (Brandon) and their son, Benton; and a niece, Shelby O'Brien. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters: Jeanie Wilson and Dodee Payne. The Pastor Jake Brown will conduct Funeral Service at 6:00 PM Friday July 8, 2022 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop.
