Life story Sandia Eva Donohue, age 65, of Madison, Indiana, and the daughter of the late Kenneth, Sr. and Norma Marie (Woods) Whalen, was born on November 24, 1955, in Toledo, Ohio. She was a cook at the Waters of Clifty Falls and had previously worked at Grote Industries for many years. She loved her cats: Smokey and Kaley Kitty. Earlier in life, she liked motorcycles but more recently, her grandkids were her life. Ms. Donohue passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Her life will be cherished by her daughter: Melinda Hill, of Paoli, Indiana; her brothers: Kenneth Whalen, Jr. and his wife, Missy of Hanover, Indiana and Mike Staklin and his wife, Josee; her sisters: Teresa Michaud, of Bedford, Kentucky and Brenda Young, of Ohio; her grandchildren: Rainley Hill, Dakota Hill, and Skip Hiltenbeitel; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Eva Donohue; and three brothers: Richard Wyatt, Rayburn Wyatt, and Vernon Wyatt. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel, on Madison's hilltop. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Welty Funeral Homes & Cremation Service, Vail Chapel from 2:00 PM until the time of the service on Wednesday.
