Sara Arias de Schlereth, age 86, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Madison, Indiana and the daughter of the late Apolinar and Maria Concepcion Fernandez Arias, was born on November 22, 1933, in Mexico City, Mexico. She obtained a bachelor of arts degree and then a master's of arts degree from the Universidad Anglo - Espanol, and was an accountant. On April 18, 1960, she was united in marriage to Charles Schlereth and they were blessed with three sons: Charles, Marc, and Greg. During her time in Midland, Michigan, she was a member of St. Brigid's Catholic Church. Ms. Schlereth passed away on October 14, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas.

Her life will be cherished by her sons: Greg, Charles, and Marc Schlereth; and several other relatives. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Schlereth who passed away on January 9, 2013.

Reverend Christopher Craig will conduct graveside services at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 22, 2021 at the Springdale Cemetery in Madison, with interment to follow.
