Life story Sue D. Leatherbury, age 62, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. She was born in Jefferson County, Indiana, the daughter of Bernice and Ethel (Martin) Mann. Mrs. Leatherbury had many different occupations during her lifetime, including serving as a licensed practical nurse in New York. She enjoyed car rides, cooking and taking care of children. She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Leatherbury; three daughters: Lisa Singleton of Butlerville, Indiana, Kimberly Scales and Rochelle Simmonds, both of Madison; one son, Allen Singleton, Jr. of Madison; one step daughter, Gina Mae Thompson of Madison; four stepsons: Charles R. Leatherbury of Indianapolis, Indiana, Dean Leatherbury of Madison, Larry Leatherbury of Denver, Colorado, and Terry Leatherbury of Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters: Dorothy Ramey of Scipio, Indiana and Helen Risk of Madison; three brothers: A.B. Mann and Seldon Mann, both of Columbus, Indiana and Paul D. Mann of Lexington, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and four sisters: Lillian Bond "Tootsie" Mann, Kathy Kessler, Irene Manis and Neva Howard. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel. Friends and family may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel from 9 to 11 AM Thursday.
