Life story Mrs. Suzanne T. Pritchard of Madison, passed away on Friday, March 24, 2006 at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison. Born June 7, 1926 in Sullivan, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Stanley R. and Nell F. (Brinton) Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John T. Pritchard. Mrs. Pritchard was a homemaker and a caseworker for the Jefferson County Family and Social Services. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, the Tri-Kappa Sorority, held a widow's membership in Madison Elk's Lodge #524, and an avid reader. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Larry Adwell of Jeffersonville, Indiana; two sons and daughters-in-law: Thomas D. and Susan Shake of Puyallup, Washington, and James J. and Tina Shake of Aiken, South Carolina; one step-daughter, Cathay Pritchard of Hamilton, Ohio; three step-sons and daughters-in-law: Tom and Karen Pritchard of Madison, Miles and Susan Pritchard of Weatherford, Texas, and Johnny and Debbie Pritchard of Fairfield, Ohio; one brother, J. Brinton Thomas of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren: Kristie Tidball and her husband Dean, Joshua Shake, Ethan Shake, Tyler Shake and Trevor Shake; four step-grandchildren: Chad Pritchard, Paul Pritchard, Laura Pritchard, Amy Pritchard and Joseph Pritchard; and four great grandchildren: Sarah, Conner, Elizabeth and Cooper Tidball. Funeral services will be conducted by Reverend Nan Chismar at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Lytle Funeral Chapel, with interment to follow in Springdale Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Lytle Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday, and from 10 to 11 AM on Thursday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association or the American Lung Association. Cards are available at the funeral chapel.
