Life story Thelma J. Ashby, 56, of Madison, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana. She was born Thursday, August 21, 1958 in Madison, Indiana, the daughter of Eugene Floyd and Thelma Lavell (Bellamy) Deburger. She was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. Thelma was employed with the former U.S. Shoe Factory as an assembler. She also spent time babysitting her grandchildren. Thelma enjoyed watching soap operas, listening to music, sitting by the fire, as well as reading and doing puzzle books. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include: three daughters: Natasha Ashby, Madison, Jennifer Ashby, The Dalles, Oregon, and Audrey Ashby: three grandchildren: Candice Taylor, Dorrian Moeller and Charles Houston; two brothers: Dennis Eugene Deburger and David Ray Deburger; and a sister, Gloria Joyce Wilson. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Charles Ashby on August 17,1991, two brothers, Thomas Joseph Deburger and Ronald Lee Deburger. The funeral services will be at 3:00 PM Sunday, October 26, 2014 at Lytle Funeral Chapel. Friends may call at the Lytle Funeral Chapel Sunday, October 26, 2014 from 1:00 PM till 3:00 PM.
